Position Type: Locum | Physician - Neurosurgery
Overview
A hospital-based neurosurgery opportunity is available in Muskegon, Michigan. The provider will support a Level II Trauma center and work alongside an established neurosurgery team providing care for adult and geriatric patients.
Practice Highlights
• Hospital-based neurosurgery practice with EPIC EMR
• Level II Trauma Center
• Team of 2 Neurosurgeons
• Average 2-5 surgical cases per week depending on trauma volume
• Adult and geriatric patient population
Candidate Requirements
• Board Certified or Truly Board Eligible in Neurosurgery (within 3 years of residency)
• Active Michigan license or IMLC LOQ highly preferred
• BLS certification required
• Must be able to cover 7 days per month
• NPDB Self-Query (pulled within the same month) required at submission
Schedule & Coverage
• Start: July 3
• Coverage: 7 days per month (one full week)
• Schedule: 7a - 7a (24-hour call)
• Call coverage for the entire week
