Job description

Job Description/Summary

The mold setter is responsible for positioning and setting up molds for the manufacturing of products or components made of various materials.

Essential Functionsย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย 

  • 1-3 years of experience setting up and operating mold injection equipment.
  • Repairs and maintains machines, mold upgrades, remove auxiliary equipment using hand tools and power tools.
  • Possess technical and mechanical skills to set and pull molds.
  • Completes all paperwork and documentation.
  • Must be proficient with calipers and other hand tools.
  • Must be able to read and interpret blueprints and schematics.
  • Able to follow instructions, excellent written and oral skills communicate with others, and follow safety procedures.
  • Other duties as assigned.

  • Report to work on time every day and be at the assigned workstation on time.
  • Must be able to communicate well with team and upper management.
  • Ability to perform multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment to assure delivery requirements.
  • Clear communication skills.
  • Ability to follow documented procedures and standards.
  • Excellent time-management skills with the ability to work independently with little supervision.
