Position: Valet
Location: Ascension Seton Medical Center Austin
Pay: $17 an hour
Shift: Monday - Friday ( Flexible shifts)

The Valet Attendant is responsible for safely and efficiently parking and retrieving guest vehicles while delivering a high level of customer service. This role requires prompt, courteous, and caring interactions with all guests and timely responses to customer needs. The Valet Attendant works collaboratively with team members, the Operations Manager, and/or Shift Supervisor to ensure quality service, operational efficiency, and adherence to safety standards, as well as compliance with all applicable state and local laws.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate the full valet service process from arrival to departure, including greeting guests, retrieving keys, issuing tickets, and entering customer information via electronic devicesย 
  • Park and retrieve guest vehicles safely and efficiently, ensuring proper vehicle placement and accurate tracking of vehicle locationย 
  • Inspect vehicles for preโ€‘existing damage and document findings using electronic or manual ticketing systemsย 
  • Deliver exceptional customer service by building rapport, responding promptly to inquiries, and providing directions or assistance as neededย 
  • Act as a professional brand ambassador by courteously interacting with guests, opening vehicle doors, and assisting with unloading and loading personal itemsย 
  • Maintain vehicle safety and security by directing traffic, positioning barricades, monitoring ramp or drive areas, and arranging towing services when requiredย 
  • Request, collect, and accurately process applicable valet fees; assist with reconciling endโ€‘ofโ€‘shift revenue and ticket distributionย 
  • Retrieve vehicles promptly for waiting guests and assist with luggage or personal items when necessaryย 
  • Immediately report incidents, accidents, or claims to the Operations Manager or Shift Leadย 
  • Communicate professionally and effectively with guests, clients, supervisors, and teammates at all timesย 


Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills ย 
  • Ability to communicate with guests ย 
  • Ability to learn quickly and use sound decision making to thrive in fast-paced environments ย 
  • Ability to operate guest vehicles requiring normal coordination, including eye-hand, hand-foot ย 
  • Ability to move from valet stand to customer cars by walking or running for extended period of time, sometimes for the entire duration of shift ย 
  • Previous valet experience preferred ย 
  • Ability to operate manual transmission vehicles (stick shift) ย 
REQUIREMENTS:ย 
  • Must be at least 18 years of ageย 
  • Valid driverโ€™s license with good driving records. ย 
  • Must successfully pass a background check, in accordance with company policy and applicable lawsย 
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States and able to provide documentation verifying eligibility, as required by the Department of Homeland Security. Reimagined Parking participates in the Eโ€‘Verify program to confirm employment eligibility. ย 
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:ย 
  • Operate guest vehicles requiring normal coordination, including eye-hand, hand-footย 
  • Move from valet stand to customer cars by walking or running for extended periods of time, sometimes for entire duration of shift ย 
  • Occasionally lift and carry customer luggage or personal items, up to 50 lbsย 
WORKING CONDITIONS: ย 
  • Work is performed in parking facilities including garages, lots, booths, and outdoor areas. ย 
  • Exposure to varying weather conditions such as heat, cold, rain, wind, and snow depending on the region and season. ย 
  • Fastโ€‘paced environment requiring consistent customer interaction. ย 
  • Exposure to vehicle traffic, noise, and varying weather conditions. ย 
  • Interaction with upset or frustrated customers while maintaining professionalism. ย
