We are seeking a skilled CNC Set Up Technicians to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in CNC machining and a strong mechanical aptitude. The CNC Set Up Technician is responsible for the set up and operation of all machines and production jobs as required to produce high quality parts, give direction to operators, and effectively communicate between departments or personnel for prompt problem resolution.

Responsibilities:

Set up and operate CNC machines to perform tasks such as drilling, grinding, milling, etc.

Prepare perishable tooling for new processes.

Read and interpret blueprints to understand project specifications

Inspect finished pieces to ensure they meet quality standards

Perform routine maintenance on machines to ensure they operate efficiently Collaborate with the engineering team to optimize machining processes

Diagnose and resolve machine malfunctions or programming errors to minimize downtime and ensure continuous production
Maintain appropriate documentation of setups, tool changes, and adjustments made during the production process


Skills:

Proficiency in CAD software for programming CNC machines

Ability to assemble and use lathe machines

Strong mechanical knowledge and understanding of bore gauges

Familiarity with Mazatrol and Fanuc controls

Proficient in using hand tools for machine setup and maintenance


Day Shift: 6:30 am - 5:30 pm
Night Shift: 5:30 pm - 4:30 am
