Job description

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED/A.A.S. Degree
  • Basic experience in plant electrical & mechanical maintenance
  • Minimum 5 years maintenance experience
  • Demonstrated leadership skills, self-motivated
  • Basic understanding of electrical / electronic machinery, controls & logic
  • Must be able to stoop, bend, kneel & twist
  • Must be able to use small hand tools
  • Skilled in hydraulics, pneumatics & fabrication & mechanical troubleshooting
  • Must be able to life / move 25 lbs. regularly; may occasionally lift / move up to 100 lbs., but only with assistance from other team members or mechanical equipment
  • Basic understanding of mechanical / mechanical machinery & repairs
  • Experience with maintenance / maintenance management software

Responsibilities:

Perform maintenance and repair for mold breakdown and other unplanned mold maintenance activities including pre-production mold preparation.

2.

Analyze mold failures for trends and implement countermeasures to prevent recurrence.

3.

Perform overall maintenance for injection molds.

4.

Mechanical troubleshooting experience

5.

Manage work activity and spare parts using MP2 software system.

6.

Maintain a clean and safe work environment

7.

Ensure EMS / QMS procedures are followed in performance of job duties

8.

Perform overall maintenance for facilities, equipment, grounds and machinery
