Job Summary:
We are seeking a Banquet Set-Up to join our team to preparing and maintaining event spaces to ensure successful meetings, conferences, banquets, and special events. This role involves setting up and breaking down tables, chairs, linens, staging, dance floors, and audiovisual equipment according to event specifications. The successful candidate will possess a strong commitment to customer satisfaction and excel in a dynamic, fast-paced hospitality environment.
Responsibilities:
1. Set up banquet rooms according to event orders, including tables, chairs, linens, staging, dance floors, and audiovisual equipment.
2. Ensure meeting and event spaces are clean, organized, and properly arranged prior to guest arrival.
3. Break down and reset banquet rooms following events in a timely and efficient manner.
4. Assist banquet and catering teams with event preparation and execution.
5. Monitor event spaces during functions and respond promptly to setup changes or guest requests.
6. Maintain storage areas and equipment in a clean, safe, and organized condition.
7. Perform physical labor including lifting, carrying, and moving tables, chairs, and equipment as required.
Qualifications:
1. High school diploma or equivalent.
2. Prior experience in food and beverage service, particularly in banquet or event settings.
