Job description

Are you looking for a CNC Swiss Operator position with great benefits and pay? Looking for a challenge that can make you a true expert in your field?

Here at Tooling Dynamics, for over 35 years, we’ve supported the electronic, medical, solar, military, aerospace, and automotive industries by delivering engineering expertise and production services to meet our customers’ most demanding requirements and schedules. 
 

This is what your day to day will look like;

  • Setup and operate CNC Swiss Lathe machines. Operations consists of Putting tools in machine, setting tool
  • positions, adjusting tool offsets, replacing inserts and tools, prepping bars and bar ends and putting bars into the
  • loader.
  • Read and interpret blueprints; dimensional size and geometric dimensioning and tolerancing.
  • Complete all paperwork required for the manufacturing process.
  • Perform inspection of product to drawings and standards.
  • Properly use and care for various types of inspection gages, fixtures and equipment used in the manufacturing
  • process.
  • Complete secondary operations such as part cleaning, deburring, etc.
  • Move finished product to designated area.
  • Manage time effectively to maximize production.
  • Follow safe work practices and keep the work area clean and organized.
  • Perform related duties as assigned.
  • Maintain compliance with all company policies and procedures.

Qualification
  •  Must possess High School Diploma or Equivalent.
  •  Minimum of two (2) years machining and/or CNC machining experience.
  •  Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including ability to effectively communicate with team.
  •  Must be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines, while maintaining a positive attitude.
  •  Ability to work independently and to carry out assignments to completion within parameters of instructions given,
  • prescribed routines, and standard accepted practices.

Physical Requirements
  • Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
  • Prolonged periods working on feet, using tools, and performing repetitive actions that entail frequent bending and stooping.
  • Visual acuity to read instructions, operate machines, and inspect parts produced.
