Job description

Do you like to work with your hands? Do you have some basic carpentry experience? Greenspace is an ecologically sustainable exhibit house and we are looking to ADD to our TEAM!

You would be working with a team of builders to fabricate event displays and other projects, meeting project standards and deadlines.

  • Effectively work with a team to construct assigned projects from start to completion
  • Accurately interpreting drawings, able to convey to the team working on the project
  • Successfully create a cut list and compile a materials list from drawings of an assigned project
  • Regulate material usage to ensure cost-effectiveness and efficiency on projects
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
  • Ability to successfully manage the construction of multiple projects

HOURS OF WORK:

  • This is a full-time position, 40 hours per week
  • Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 6:00 am to 2:30 pm
  • This position is subject to mandatory overtime during peak seasons
  • Some out-of-the-area and overnight travel may be expected.

PREFERRED EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

  • High School Diploma or G.E.D.
  • 1 year of relevant experience in cabinet-making, building, woodworking, or demonstrating abilities within these skill sets
  • Preferred experience in the exhibit and trade show industry
  • May require forklift certification and/or the ability to obtain such certification.
