Our Construction Manager is responsible for managing a wide range of functions necessary to obtain and successfully execute construction projects. This role is responsible for ensuring a high quality of service in for customers, clients, subcontractors and resource providers involved in construction services.

In this role, you will collaborate closely with key stakeholders for seamless project execution, achieve financial objectives, and maintain high levels of customer satisfaction. You'll lead and develop our construction team, managing a wide range of responsibilities including recruitment, training, performance management, and project coordination.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the overall satisfaction of the customer and client experience.
  • Evaluate and sell projects through educating customers on the construction process.
  • Develop scope of work, review estimates, set expectations, and obtain customer and client approval of project scope of work.
  • Create project schedules and timelines, coordinate and oversee the execution of services, conduct quality assurance activities, and resolve issues.
  • Document and or review job file to support the services provided.
  • Maintain communication with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Ensure all work performed complies with the plans, specifications, local codes, and requirements of the scope of work. Ensure proper permits are acquired.
  • Review project budget, manage expenses and company assets, collect deposits and draws, and assist in collecting final payments.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED required. Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or related field preferred.
  • Proven work experience in construction management.
  • Proficiency with Xactimate or similar estimating software (certification preferred).
  • Superb customer service track record.
  • Extensive leadership, management, and organizational skills.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Outstanding written and oral communication skills.
  • Working knowledge of current business software technologies.
