Full Time - 3pm-11:30pm
History
Martin County Hospital District (MCHD) was organized in 1967 and has boundaries coterminous with Martin County, Texas. It is located in the heart of West Texas. Opened in 1949, the hospital was originally located near downtown Stanton. This facility served the community well for many years but was replaced with a state of the art 18 bed facility in 2012. The new facility is located on I20 and has been designated as a Critical Access Hospital
Summary of Responsibilities
The EVS Worker is responsible for performing the cleaning, sanitizing and disinfecting of all areas in the hospital, clinics, Home Health, and EMS. This individual will ensure that the Martin County facilities are clean and safe for our patients, employees, guests, and visitors. The EVS Worker is required to meet all the standards set forth by MCHD and CMS. The EVS worker will maintain a high level of customer service by practicing AIDET. Personal vehicle will be required to drive from location to location. Reimbursement for mileage will be paid monthly.
Requirements
Education
High school diploma or GED. In lieu of degree, additional work experience is acceptable.
Experience
Prior housekeeping experience preferred. Experience in a hospital setting is desirable
