About Bo's Generators, a Power Support Partners Company:

Bo's Generators is seeking a Service & Warehouse Technician to support our growing operations in the West Palm Beach market. This is a hands-on, multi-functional role that combines warehouse management, generator service and maintenance work, and occasional installation support.

This individual will serve as a key member of our local team, helping ensure our warehouse remains organized and operational while also supporting customers in the field through preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and service calls. As business needs evolve, this person may also assist installation crews to ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and on schedule.

The ideal candidate enjoys variety in their day, takes pride in staying organized, and is willing to roll up their sleeves wherever support is needed.

Team members typically begin their workday by arriving at the warehouse around 6:30 AM to prepare for the day. This includes reviewing job assignments, loading materials and equipment, confirming project details, and ensuring all necessary tools and safety gear are ready.

After morning preparation, crews travel in company vehicles to scheduled job sites to complete installations and service work. Workdays may vary depending on project scope and customer needs, but punctuality and preparedness are essential to maintaining our high standards of service and efficiency.

Key ResponsibilitiesWarehouse Operations (Approximately 50%)
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized warehouse environment.
  • Receive, inspect, and properly store incoming inventory and equipment.
  • Track inventory levels and communicate material needs.
  • Prepare materials, tools, and equipment for upcoming service and installation jobs.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records and assist with cycle counts.
  • Coordinate deliveries, returns, and warranty materials.
  • Ensure company vehicles, tools, and equipment are properly stocked and maintained.
  • Support warehouse processes and continuous improvement initiatives.
Service & Maintenance Support (Approximately 50%)
  • Perform preventative maintenance on residential and commercial standby generators.
  • Complete routine inspections, testing, and basic troubleshooting.
  • Diagnose and repair generator-related issues under the guidance of senior technicians as needed.
  • Document service findings accurately and communicate recommendations to customers.
  • Maintain a high level of professionalism while representing the company in customers' homes and businesses.
  • Follow all company safety procedures and standards.
Installation Support (As Needed)
  • Assist installation crews during periods of high workload.
  • Support electrical, mechanical, and site preparation activities.
  • Help load, unload, and transport materials and equipment.
  • Maintain job site cleanliness and safety.
  • Work collaboratively with installation team members to complete projects efficiently.
Qualifications and Skills: Preferred Experience
  • Experience in warehouse operations, inventory management, or logistics.
  • Experience in generator service, electrical, mechanical, HVAC, automotive, or related technical fields.
  • Ability to safely operate forklifts and warehouse equipment (or willingness to become certified).
  • Experience using hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment.
Required Skills

  • Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn generator systems.
  • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
