The Industrial Service Tech supports customer operations by performing recurring environmental services, industrial cleaning, fluid maintenance support, and preventative maintenance activities at customer facilities. Working under close supervision and alongside experienced teammates, this role completes highly defined and standardized tasks that help maintain safe, clean, and efficient manufacturing environments. Responsibilities may include waste and recycling collection, machine cleaning, spill response, housekeeping activities, and assisting with fluid management and preventative maintenance tasks. This entry-level role is designed to provide hands-on training and development into more advanced industrial service responsibilities while building technical knowledge, safety awareness, and customer service skills within Maintenance 360 operations.

Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Perform recurring environmental services and housekeeping activities throughout customer facilities
  • Empty trash, recycling, scrap metal, and waste containers while following site-specific disposal procedures
  • Scan, document, and verify completion of assigned service routes and recurring tasks
  • Break down cardboard, collect debris, and maintain clean work areas throughout manufacturing environments
  • Support CNC machine cleaning and industrial housekeeping activities around production equipment
  • Assist with preventative maintenance and fluid service activities under the direction of experienced teammates
  • Remove, transport, and dispose of industrial fluids, waste, and debris following safety procedures
  • Learn proper coolant management, fluid handling, chemical mixing, and testing procedures
  • Support spill response and cleanup activities
  • Safely operate basic tools, pumps, vacuums, carts, and industrial service equipment
  • Follow detailed work instructions, recurring schedules, and standardized procedures
  • Maintain safe, clean, and organized work environments at customer facilities
  • Participate in on-the-job training and skill development activities
  • Follow all EHSS policies, PPE requirements, and customer safety procedures
  • Represent Ascentek professionally through dependable service and positive customer interactions

Education:

  • High school diploma or GED

Experience and/or Training:

  • Previous experience in manufacturing, janitorial, warehouse, labor, or industrial environments preferred
  • Willingness to learn industrial maintenance, preventative maintenance, and fluid service processes
  • Ability to perform repetitive and physically demanding work safely
  • Ability to follow detailed instructions and standardized procedures

License/Certification:

  • Valid driverโ€™s license depending on assignment

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Strong commitment to workplace safety
  • Basic mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn
  • Strong work ethic and reliability
  • Ability to communicate effectively with teammates and customers
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team

The anticipated hiring range for the role you are applying for is $23 to $26ย hourly. This anticipated hiring range is based on several factors, and subject to increase based on the below:ย
