Job description

Natural Gas Service Technician / Installer

We are seeking a skilled Natural Gas Service Technician / Installer to support an expanding service operation. This is an excellent opportunity for experienced technicians looking for long-term stability, growth, and exposure to a diverse range of equipment and systems.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience servicing and installing natural gas heating systems, with additional experience in A/C and oil systems considered a strong plus. A strong focus on safety, diagnostics, and customer service is essential.

Key Responsibilities

  • Service, troubleshoot, and repair natural gas heating systems
  • Install and maintain heating and cooling equipment, including furnaces, boilers, and A/C systems
  • Perform diagnostics and routine maintenance on residential and light commercial systems
  • Work safely and in compliance with industry regulations and company standards
  • Communicate clearly with customers regarding system operation, service findings, and recommendations
  • Accurately document work performed and completed service calls
  • Coordinate with dispatch and internal teams to ensure timely service delivery

Required Experience & Qualifications

  • Proven service and/or installation experience (natural gas, HVAC, oil, or related systems)
  • Relevant certifications preferred, such as:
    • Gas Certification
    • HVAC Certification
    • Oil Burner Certification (a plus)
  • Experience with A/C systems and oil service/installs is highly desirable
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
