Job description

Job Overview
This is an entry level position that assists in providing coiled tubing ground support onsite by constantly monitoring the equipmentโ€™s operational status. The Pump Operator assists in fueling activities during the job as well as maintaining appropriate equipment fluid levels (fuel, oil, water, etc.). The Pump Operator assists in the rig-up, rig-down or swapping wells and may take direction from more senior Go Coil personnel on location, including the Coiled Tubing Supervisor. This position may perform general maintenance and repairs, but only under the direct supervisor of more senior Go Coil personnel.

Duties

  • Assists in maintaining the Tool Trailer in a state of constant readiness by cleaning, sorting, and inventorying tools/materials.
  • Assists in ground support activities to maintain appropriate fluid levels under supervision.
  • Knowledge of rig-up/rig-down sequence in coiled tubing operations a plus.
  • Assists in maintaining the equipment and performing basic repairs under direct supervision.
  • Assists in monitoring area conditions during coiled tubing operations to alert senior personnel of wellsite issues.
  • Assists in jobsite tidiness by applying good housekeeping techniques such as keeping the jobsite free of debris, picking up tools, and ensuring safety barriers remain in place.
  • Able to take simple directions and open to constructive feedback.
  • Maintains a safe work area or job site by following the Company's HSE and Standard Operating Procedures manuals.
  • Reads and understands the JSA when assigned a job task.
  • Participates in Pre-Job safety meeting to proactively discuss HSE concerns. Proficient in handling routine ground operations.
  • Exercises the Company's "STOP WORK" program when in doubt of workโ€™s safety.
  • Communicates with the services supervisor on a regular basis to ensure quality service and customer satisfaction.
  • Consistently use PPE as the job tasks dictates and in line with the company's operational and HSE standards.
  • Uses the โ€œbuddy systemโ€ to keep fellow employees out of harmโ€™s way.
  • Demonstrates behavior that is professional, ethical, and responsible serving as a role model for all personnel.
  • Notifies the supervisor of repairs needed beyond the scope of the Pump Operator.
  • Assisting the supervisor with equipment inspections and testing, documenting the results when assigned.
