Job description

Under limited supervision, leads the development and execution of product/portfolio strategies and plans inclusive of product strategy, roadmap ownership, cross-functional alignment, implementation, and performance measurement considering product life cycle stage and the customer experience.

Essential Functions

  • Owns product strategy, vision, and roadmap for transportation and logistics solutions, ensuring alignment with business objectives, customer needs, operational requirements, and market opportunities.
  • Evaluates market, industry, regulatory, economic, competitive, and customer trends impacting transportation and logistics products; leverages quantitative and qualitative analysis to identify opportunities, risks, and actionable business insights.
  • Utilizes advanced analytics, performance metrics, and data models to measure product adoption, operational effectiveness, customer value, financial performance, and return on investment, driving continuous product optimization.
  • Defines, prioritizes, and manages the product roadmap, balancing customer requirements, operational efficiency, technical feasibility, strategic objectives, and resource constraints.
  • Drives stakeholder alignment and decision-making by communicating product vision, business cases, priorities, progress, and performance across leadership teams and functional groups.
  • Manages product lifecycle activities, including requirements definition, business case development, implementation planning, user acceptance testing, launch readiness, change management, and post-launch performance evaluation.
  • Establishes and monitors key product performance indicators (KPIs), using customer feedback, operational metrics, and business results to inform roadmap decisions and future investments.
  • Leads cross-functional product development and implementation initiatives, partnering with Operations, Technology, Sales, Customer Success, Finance, Supply Chain, and other stakeholders to successfully deliver new capabilities and enhancements.
  • Provides leadership, guidance, and mentorship to team members and less senior colleagues, fostering collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.


Minimum Education

Bachelor's Degree/equivalent in product marketing, economics, business, or related field.

Minimum Experience

Three (3) years work experience in functions focused on product management, market analysis or research, or equivalent.

More advanced degrees may offset experience requirements. A related Master's Degree equals two (2) years experience.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Knowledge of competitive, market and economic factors affecting product performance and ability to perform fact based data analysis.

Strong communication and presentation skills, quantitative, problem structuring and solving skills.

Strong executive presence and human relations skills.

Strong project management experience.

Pay: Memphis range: $6,511.62/mo - $10,744.16/mo; Pittsburgh range: $6,854.33/mo - $11,309.65/mo; Plano range: $6,854.33/mo - $11,309.65/mo

Additional Details: This position will be hybrid in Memphis, TN, Pittsburgh, PA, or Plano, TX and candidates must live within a 50 mile radius. This position is hybrid, meaning employees will be required to work at a FedEx Campus location four (4) times per week.
