Title: Maintenance Specialist
Pay: $13.00/hr
Schedule: Part-time 7am-12:30pm
Summary of essential job functions:
  • Report to work on time and in uniform.
  • Sweeping, office cleaning, moping, and removing trash as assigned by management.
  • Cleaning restrooms and elevators
  • Sweep/pick-up trash throughout the facility on all levels
  • Pick-up trash around the outside perimeter of the garage
  • Organizing supplies, dusting, and sweeping stair wheels as needed.
  • Routinely check and empty trash cans throughout the facility as needed
  • Facility maintenance to include, but not limited to as follows; inspection of entire facility as per inspection form, change light bulbs throughout the facility including elevators, weed abatement, painting as needed, minor repairs throughout the facility as needed
  • Greet each customer with a smile, provide pleasant customer service, help with directions and be available to assist customers with customer service-related questions and issues.
  • Demonstrate knowledge of the facility.
  • Cooperate with all team members to provide the best possible service.
  • Utilize etiquette and professionalism during interactions with customer and in the workplace.
  • Report any operational issues with customers and facility conditions or potential problems to management.
  • Ability and willingness to perform additional duties assigned by management
  • Comply with company rules, policies, and standard operating procedures/company's handbook.
  • Maintain communication with the supervisor on duty.
  • Report all incidents/accidents to the supervisor on duty.

Minimum Requirements:
  • HS Diploma or five years of similar work experience and must be at least 21 years of age.
  • Reading: Average Level: Ability to read, analyze, and interpret,federal, state and local transportation regulations as well as reports and procedures.
  • Communication: Must be able to read and speak the English language
  • Math: Average Level: Ability to add, subtract, divide and multiply.
  • Writing: Average Level: Ability to write statements/reports.
  • Technical Skill: basic knowledge of tools and equipment

Physical:
  • Must be willing to pass a physical as part of the selection process as required by airport, federal DOT and/or state regulations.

Licenses:
  • Must possess a valid driver's license

Physical Demands:
Must be able to work in a team environment.
Light maintenance and prolonged sitting and frequent standing are a normal part of the job. All Maintenance personnel must be able to lift up to 50 pounds. Continuously requires vision, hearing and talking. Occasionally requires fine dexterity, lifting, carrying, reaching, pushing/pulling, bending and twisting. Rarely requires, kneeling and climbing.
Machines, Tools, Equipment and Work Aids:
Tools, equipment, two-way radios, smart phone.
Environmental Factors:
Exposure to noise and vibration and physical hazards. Seasonal exposure to extreme temperature and wetness and/or humidity
