Position Overview

Ross Downing Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram of Mobile is seeking a dependable and customer-focused individual to join our Service Department as a Service Porter. This is an entry-level position with opportunities for growth, ideal for someone looking to start a career in the automotive industry while providing an excellent customer experience.


Responsibilities
  • Greet customers in the service drive as needed

  • Drive the courtesy shuttle to designated locations to ensure a positive customer experience

  • Transport vehicles and personnel as needed

  • Move vehicles to maintain an organized and efficient service area

  • Assist in keeping the service department clean and presentable

  • Perform additional duties as assigned to support the service team and customer experience


Qualifications
  • Must be at least 18 years of age

  • Valid driverโ€™s license required

  • Ability to safely operate customer and dealership vehicles

  • Ability to drive manual transmission vehicles (preferred)

  • Friendly attitude with a strong customer-service mindset

  • Reliable, responsible, and willing to learn


Compensation
  • Starting pay: $9.00 โ€“ $10.00 per hour
