We are growing our team again! We currently have an opening at Turnstile for a General Labourer/Installer . This position is a critical role to the success of our organization will report to the General Manager. The ideal candidate will be a team-oriented individual with a strong, self-directed work ethic. In a busy work environment, the ability to juggle multiple tasks and work under deadlines is an asset. The General Labourer/Installer will perform work both inside and outside, adhere to the highest standards of safety and quality as well as be physically able to perform manual labour including, lifting and standing for extended periods of time. As a General Labourer/Installer you will be responsible for material handling, operating tools, assembly of product, supporting, and scheduling installations and services. As a key member of the team, the main responsibilities include: · Perform work in accordance with all H&S standards and legislation; Perform product preparation and clean up duties; Effectively communicate status of products and/or installations; Work in a team environment; Assisting in manufacturing; Assembling components using hand tools; General Labour in a manufacturing environment; Maintain product quality control; Loading and unloading material; May involve repetitive lifting - 50 lbs; Assist with Shipping and receiving; The ideal candidate will have: · Minimum High School Diploma; · 2 years of experience in a similar position; Valid G license with reliable transportation; Have excellent verbal communication skills; Previous experience as a technician, installations and or field services is an asset; Excellent problem-solving skills and good negotiation skills; An understanding of customer/vendor relationships; Highly flexible with strong organizational and time management skills; Ability to work unsupervised in a fast-paced environment; Team player, adaptable, energetic with a positive professional attitude and manner; Highly organized; self-motivated to improve your business skills; Enjoy working with others and have a strong desire to improve yourself and advance within the organization; Forklift and machine operation experience would be considered an asset; Job Type: Full-time, Permanent Salary: $20-25 hourly (depending on experience) Located in Erin ON, our growing company offers exceptional potential for long-term career/full-time stable employment with: • Mon-Fri (7am-4:30pm); • Competitive Wages; • Bonus Pay; • Vacation; • Friendly working environment; • Numerous team activities and various Company Events; • Health and Welfare Benefits. \nCompany Description Turnstile Security Systems didn't just happen upon the security market, it has been an evolving journey of over 35 years.
