About us

We are a full service mechanical company that takes pride in doing quaility work. We focus soley on K-12 educational institutions. New construction and renovations.

Responsibilities:

-Must provide own hand tools to effectively perform job duties.

- Operate a variety of hand & power tools, torch, vacuum pumps & various HVAC & electrical test equipment.

- Service, install, repair & replace HVAC systems including Fans, RTU's & Split Systems, spot coolers, etc.

- Accurately complete all forms of documents for startup, service, warranty, and repair.

- Perform a minimum of 8 start ups a day.

- Possess or obtain OSHA 30 certification, fall protection certification, forklift certification, and aerial lift certification.

- Assist with the installation or removal of HVAC systems ductwork, economizers, hail guards, as needed.

- Work overtime as needed to meet project requests and schedules.

- Represent Welch HVAC to the Owners, Architects, Engineers, Inspectors, General Contractors, and other Subcontractors, in a positive manner.

- View all relationships with others on projects as everyone is a customer.

- Foster relationships with Vendors and Suppliers.

- Prevent and address short cuts and poor quality.

- Work with trainees by assessing their qualities, knowledge, and help them set goals.

- Strive for quality versus quantity on all projects.

- Continue to train and keep up with new technologies on the equipment in our industry.

- Stop and shut down any unsafe activity by anyone under Welch HVAC's supervision.

Note: This position may require occasional travel to client sites.

Job Type: Full-time

Expected hours: 40 per week
