Job description

Are you looking for a career, not just a job?
Do you love dogs? Do you love helping people? Do you possess great customer service skills?
We are the locally owned territory of the fastest growing dog training company in the country: Off Leash K9 Training, LLC. This is a demanding and challenging profession. We need someone that is highly driven to establish professional relationships and be successful.
*Minimum job requirements:
-Must reside in the Raleigh/Durham or surrounding areas
-Must be willing and able to board at least 1 dogs at your residence for 14 days at a time.
-Must have reliable transportation.
-Must be willing and able to train private lessons for at least 8-12 hours a week.
-Must have a smartphone (iPhone preferred).
-Must have knowledge with basic video editing (iMovie preferred).
-Must have knowledge with Social Media (Facebook, Youtube, Instagram, etc.)
-Must be able to complete a 3 week training course with us, here in Raleigh/Durham.
Day to day requirements:
-Handling and training small and large breeds from puppy to adult, for average pet home.
-Working with dogs needing behavior modification from anxiety to aggression.
-Understanding animal behavior and being able to explain it to pet owners.
-Interacting with the public in a professional manner.
-Teaching private lessons.
-Working with your board and train.
-Sending daily updates to the owner of your board and train(s) - progress report with pic and/or short video clip.
-Continuing education and increasing skill in training, both dogs and human.
-Attend possible PR events in the area when scheduled.
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: $30,000.00 to $40,000.00 /year (this is minimum requirements for lessons and board and trains. Some of our employees are able to turn more bc some average 3 board and trains a month, choose to take on more lessons or board client's dog while out of town - see below.)
***You will have the opportunity to board for client's dogs when they go out of town at a rate of $50 night. All boarding money goes directly in your pocket.
