Role Overview

PIC Canada, a Genus Company, has an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated Bilingual (English/French) Customer Service Specialist.

In this role, you will manage a portfolio of PIC customers by delivering exceptional service, executing accurate account updates, and ensuring all customer interactions are handled with efficiency and care.

A key requirement for this position is being bilingual in English and French, as you will regularly support and communicate with customers and internal partners across multiple regions. 

You will serve as a key liaison between customers and internal teams-working closely with Account Managers, Finance, Health Assurance, Production, Inventory Management, Transport, and Scheduling to ensure a seamless customer experience. The ideal candidate thrives in a fastpaced, culturally diverse environment and brings strong communication, organization, and problemsolving skills. You excel at building relationships, prioritizing tasks, and meeting deadlines while maintaining a high level of professionalism and customer focus.

This position is based remotely in Canada and it requires approximately 5-10% travel, based on the business needs.

The salary range for this position is between $55,000 and $58,0000 CAD. The amount provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. Genus considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

You Will
  • Receive and respond to customer inquiries and concerns in a manner that enhances customer satisfaction
  • Position and promote products and service based on customer needs
  • Communicate all customer-related issues within respective account portfolio to Account Managers, as well as Health Assurance and Production when necessary.
  • Process adjustments/credits to customer accounts with Finance
  • Work closely with Inventory Management, Transport and Scheduling to optimize business logistics with customer needs
  • Execute pre-delivery calls with customers and veterinarians for animal shipments
  • Work closely with Invoicing to ensure correct pricing and billing is applied to all transactions
  • Work closely with account managers and finance to ensure royalty numbers and payments are received in a timely manner
  • Assure operational compliance with all Company policies, procedures, and regulations
  • Travel approximately 5-10%
Requirements

Basic Qualifications (required):

  • High school degree
  • At least 2 years of experience in customer service
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience with the Microsoft Office Suite, including Dynamics
  • Authorized to work in Canada without sponsorship
  • Fully bilingual in English and French

Preferred Qualifications:

  • At least 2 years of experience in sales, marketing, or corporate customer service within a swine or agriculturerelated business, with demonstrated success in improving processes and efficiencies through innovation and creativity
  • Experience in pig production, biosecurity practices, and other operational areas, particularly production and transportation
  • University degree preferred
