Job description

Glen Raven Material Solutions, a global leading manufacturer of performance fabrics, is currently seeking candidates for spinning service positions. The spinning service associate is responsible for creeling the spinning frames and assisting with color and lot changes.

Responsibilities:

  • Ability to run textile machines consisting of spinning, winding and creeling
  • Cycle assignments and flag spindles that need repair
  • Ability to read, write and follow instructions
  • Ability to work solo or with a team as needed
  • Ability to multi-task and work in an ever-changing environment with ongoing changes/interruptions
  • Willing to work a rotating schedule with weekends included
  • Ability to stand and walk for long periods of time
  • Ability to bend, stretch, push and pull buggies and packages
  • Ability to lift and move packages ranging from 5-10 lbs.
  • Ability to follow all safety and company policies- SAFETY FIRST

Experience and Education:

  • Previous experience in a textile manufacture preferred
  • High School Diploma Preferred
