Job description

Job Summary:
Echo IT Solutions is focused on supporting IT resources across the state of Indiana. They are seeking a Lead Install Tech (LAN Admin) to assist in the implementation of statewide PC Refresh Projects and ensure that new PCs are installed correctly for various agencies.
Responsibilities:
• Support the PC Refresh Project Managers and Deployment Leads by installing new PCs for Agencies' PC Refresh Projects.
• Following the established processes and checklists to ensure the end user has all the necessary software and settings on the new PC.
• Backing up, protecting, and restoring data will be an essential task for this position.
• Updating documentation and completing e-install forms required.
• Will be the lead tech and point of contact onsite for large deployments.
• Customer service is also a crucial element for this position.
• This position will perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Required:
• Associates or Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience is required.
• Advanced experience, and advanced knowledge of PC-Desktops and Laptops, iPhone, peripherals, and client/server technology.
• Hands on experience with Windows7, Windows 10 Active Directory, and VPN.
• Hands on experience supporting the MicroSoft Office Suite.
• Ability to support printers, scanners, and other peripherals.
• Solid verbal and written communication and documentation skills are required.
Preferred:
• Local to IN candidates strongly preferred.
• Industry recognized certifications such as A+, Network +, or MCSE are a benefit.
• Understanding of Internet technologies beneficial.
