Job description

Wally's Wine & Spirits is seeking an experienced, hospitality-driven Server to deliver a polished, memorable dining experience for every guest. This is an exciting opportunity to join a premium food, wine, and spirits brand where thoughtful service, product knowledge, and genuine hospitality come together.
What You'll Do
  • Provide warm, attentive, and elevated service that reflects Wally's high standards of hospitality.
  • Guide guests through the food, wine, cocktail, cheese, and charcuterie offerings with confidence and enthusiasm.
  • Create a seamless dining experience through precise timing, strong communication, and thoughtful table care.
  • Partner closely with teammates, sommeliers, bussers, food runners, kitchen staff, and management to support exceptional service.
  • Anticipate guest needs, respond to special requests, and help resolve concerns with professionalism.
  • Support a collaborative service environment by assisting with hosting, running food, bussing tables, and other guest-facing needs when appropriate.
  • Deliver a gracious closing experience by thanking guests and inviting them to return.

What We're Looking For
  • 3-5 years of serving experience in a high-volume, premium, or hospitality-focused restaurant environment.
  • Strong knowledge of food, wine service, cocktails, and elevated dining standards.
  • Excellent communication, organization, and guest engagement skills.
  • Confidence using POS systems and supporting smooth restaurant operations.
  • A team-oriented mindset with the flexibility to support multiple service roles as needed.
  • Professional composure, attention to detail, and sound judgment in fast-paced situations.
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 25 lbs. during service.
