Lake Quivira is a beautiful private, gated community nestled around a stunning 224-acre lake near Shawnee, Kansas. Home to one of the premier private clubs in the Kansas City area, Lake Quivira offers residents and members a unique lifestyle centered around family, recreation, and community.

We are seeking friendly, outgoing, and organized Servers to provide exceptional service, ensuring each guest enjoys a memorable experience in our dining room and banquet facilities.

What You’ll Do
As a Server, you will play a key role in creating a positive and memorable experience for members by:

  • Communicating with guests using clear, enthusiastic words, tone, and body language at all times
  • Making members feel appreciated through attentive service
  • Working as a team with all Quivira Inc. personnel to maintain an efficient and welcoming dining and banquet atmosphere
  • Keeping all areas cleaned and stocked to Quivira Inc.’s standards
  • Anticipating guest needs and offering assistance proactively
  • Following the half-full rule and monitoring guest signals to provide attentive service
  • Learning guests’ names, occupations, and favorite drinks to create a personalized experience
  • Reading and interpreting Banquet Event Orders to ensure proper room setup
  • Setting up all banquet tables with linens, china, silverware, glassware, and centerpieces
  • Setting up wait and beverage stations, as well as perishable items such as bread, butter, and cream
  • Serving food and beverages to banquet guests
  • Clearing away dishes and linens after banquet service
  • Ensuring proper storage of equipment and perishable foods
  • Preparing for future events by folding napkins, filling condiments, and completing other setup duties
  • Communicating with the Banquet Manager regarding equipment repair or safety concerns
  • Performing additional duties as assigned by management
