Server Position Summary

The Server plays an essential role in creating a welcoming and enjoyable dining experience for our residents. The Server is responsible for providing attentive, courteous service while maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness, presentation, and hospitality.

Server Responsibilities include:

  • Serve resident meals in a timely and professional manner

  • Reset and prepare tables for the next meal service

  • Serve room trays as needed

  • Maintain community standards of cleanliness, sanitation, and organization

  • Adhere to food quality, presentation, and appearance standards

  • Exhibit serving standards of speed, accuracy, and efficiency

  • Set tables and maintain workstations in proper order

  • Take orders, answer questions about menu items, and provide excellent customer service

  • Clear dishes and assist with dishwashing as needed

  • Serve customers using proper etiquette and promote an inviting dining atmosphere

  • Ensure diets are served correctly according to policy and procedure
