Job description

The newly renovated Hilton Garden Inn Mystic/Groton is looking to add a service driven candidate to the restaurant team as a Bartender & Server. 

Part-time position, please see below duties. 

Greeting guests and seating them at clean tables.

  • Bringing waters and menus to your tables shortly after arrival
  • Taking food and drink orders, and making suggestions if requested
  • Communicating food and drink orders to the kitchen via POS system
  • Making drinks according to approved recipes
  • Bringing drinks and food to your tables
  • Checking in on your guests to confirm that they're happy with their orders and dealing with any issues as needed
  • Collecting plates when your guests are finished eating
  • Offering dessert and/or the check once your tables are cleared
  • Collecting payment from guests
  • Cleaning and organizing the restaurant at the completion of your shift
  • Conducting all responsibilities in a prompt, friendly, and organized manner


Shift hours would be 4:30pm-10:30pm. Sundays are required. Additional shifts may be available.Â
