Job description

Job Summary:

Serve food products according to Whiskey Creekย product quality and time standards.ย  Does whatever it takes to help the team provide the highest quality and greatest value to our guests.

Essential Job Functions:

  • Accomplishes their job with a positive attitude.
  • Reviews and stocks server line for business.
  • Provide 100% guest satisfaction to all guests who patronize our restaurant.
  • Responsible for cashing out guests, proper money handling and cash-out with manager at shifts end.
  • Portions food products according to specifications.
  • Performs quality checks intermittently throughout shift.
  • Follows the nine service steps using suggestive selling, tray service and guest friendly techniques.
  • Able to adapt to computer ordering.
  • Follows proper safety and sanitation procedures according to Whiskey Creekยฎ
  • Responsible for cleaning dining room and service areas, sweeping and mopping prior to leaving.
  • Assist in storing food products.
  • Completes assigned back-up duties as required.

Qualification Standards:

  • Ability to take verbal directions from trainers and management and verbal orders from the guest.
  • Ability to read, learn and sell menu items.
  • Good hand dexterity and eyesight is critical when carrying large trays and beverage trays to the table.
  • Ability to lift and move 50+ pounds of plated food product throughout the shift.
  • Must be able to stock, reach up to high shelving and stoop to lower shelving, while lifting food products weighing up to 20+ pounds.
  • Ability to learn and follow good safety and sanitation practices required of the food service industry.
  • Friendly personality required to properly interact with guests and fellow team members.
  • Previous experience preferred.
