Job description

Hourly Rate: $16.50

Responsibilities:

  • Ensures station and table set-ups are complete, replenished, and ready for service at the start of the shift and performs side duties as assigned by the Food & Beverage leadership team. (Buffing glassware, silverware, roll-ups, etc.)

  • The Server will accurately take food & beverage orders and serve all food and beverage requests while utilizing a suggestive-selling technique and adhering to service timing standards.

  • The server will pre-bus all tables throughout the guests dining service and ensure that tables are cleared upon the completion of the guests service.

  • The server is responsible for entering guest orders into the point-of-sale accurately, presenting guests with completed guest checks, and for securing/processing proper payment methods.

  • Server is responsible for routinely ensuring that the guests experience is satisfactory and for initiating recoveries when presented with guest-issues.

  • Maintain proper condition and cleanliness of dining areas and guest-service equipment.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 1 year experience as a food server within a casual full-service restaurant environment required

  • Must be able to speak, read, write and understand the primary language (English) used in the workplace.

  • Ability to work weekends, holidays and a flex shift if needed

  • Knowledge of federal, state, and local laws, ordinances and regulations and policy regarding serving alcohol to minors and intoxicated patrons.
