Salary: $18-$20 per hour

Front of House Restaurant Service + Meat Counter Service

Here at Two Rivers Specialty Meats we pride ourselves on being one of the best wholesale suppliers of locally sourced, sustainably raised meats. Our new Shop in North Vancouver is one of a kind. Our 50 seat restaurant and butcher shop serves up the best dry-aged burgers, alongside beautiful rotisserie chickens and tallow-fried French fries. While customers food is cooking they can pick up some beautiful meats, and house-made charcuterie to take home and fill their fridge.


Our Counter servers are customer service specialists. They help customers find what they need and give them the full Two Rivers experience. We are looking for folks who want to build relationships with customers and who are interested in local food systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver an exceptional and memorable customer experience by welcoming, guiding, and assisting guests throughout their visit.
  • Educate and guide customers on menu items, charcuterie, and meat selections, including recommended cooking techniques.
  • Take and place orders for lunch and dinner service, operate the POS and cash register, and ensure accurate pricing and inventory counts.
  • Support both front-of-house and butcher counter operations, assisting customers with purchases and helping butchers with various tasks as needed.
  • Run food, support expo, maximize seating flow, guide guests at the door, and clear tables efficiently.
  • Maintain clean, full, and visually appealing display cases, ensuring glass and merchandising are consistently fresh and organized.
  • Contribute to a safe, clean, and inclusive workplace through ongoing housekeeping and upkeep during store hours.
  • Complete opening and closing duties, including general front-of-house cleaning and operational setup or shutdown.
  • Handle guest comments, concerns, and inquiries professionally; take ownership of issues and ensure timely follow-up and resolution.
  • Update feature sheets, menus, pricing, and product counts within the POS system as required.
