Job description

A Server is responsible for ensuring all guests have the Uncommon Hospitality experience that sets Morning Belle apart. They provide friendly accommodating table service that establishes the brand culture. They ensure fast and fresh delivery of food. Servers spend some of their time as host where they greet guests, ensure waiting guests have a great experience, make sure seating process is as efficient as possible and cash out departing guests with friendliness. 


Essential Duties 

Serving Duties:

  • Treats all guests in the dining room with uncommon Hospitality ensuring each guest experience is a cut above the competition
  • Takes food and drink order of guests following established restaurant procedures and practices Partnering with Server Assistants, brings food and drink orders to tables
  • Partnering with Server Assistants, ensures tables and table areas are cleared and cleaned well and quickly between guests
  • Regularly checks in with guests throughout their meal
  • Resolves guest issues with Uncommon Hospitality, partnering with the Management team as needed
  • Enters guest orders into the Point of Sale system
  • Strictly follows all federal and state mandated liquor laws by monitoring the number of alcoholic beverages each guest orders 
  • and ensuring they aren’t over-served 
  • Assists with busing tables and completing side work as needed



Host Duties: 

  • Greets guests in a positive and friendly manner, determines best seating locations, clearly communicates wait times if necessary, and seats guests efficiently and ensures proper coverage by available wait staff 
  • Completes all required training for the role



Qualifications:

  • Previous customer service or host experience required
  • Previous server experience in a high-volume casual dining restaurant preferred
  • High School Diploma or GED preferred (attained or in progress)
  • Must be at least 18 years old
