Martin/Martin, Inc. is looking for a project engineer/manager to join our Civil Engineering Group in our Denver, Colorado office. This engineer will primarily be focused on water and wastewater projects, including treatment for projects located in Colorado, the Southwest, across the U.S. and in international locations.


A typical work week includes project management, mentoring, engineering calculations, design development, site visits, etc. This position requires for interactions with owners, architects, contractors, etc.


Opportunity to work on premier projects in the Rocky Mountain Region, nationally and potentially internationally. Martin/Martin has been involved in water and wastewater projects with the National Park Service for over 30 years and has traveled across the U.S. and to Mexico and Antarctica for treatment related projects.

The Team


Our Civil Engineering teams focus on site and infrastructure design, including leading projects such as the 16th Street Mall redesign in Denver.

Responsibilities

  • Utilize AutoCad/Civil3D to design, detail, and coordinate small to medium size projects within time allotments and within project budgets.
  • Manage and mentor a team of civil engineers and CAD technicians.
  • Serve as point-of-contact with Clients, Contractors and other design disciplines.
  • Provide quality-control check of work produced.
  • Provide project construction administration support including shop drawing review, responses to Requests for Information (RFIs), and field observations.
  • Attend project meetings during design and construction.
  • Monitor project budgets and reviews and/or approves invoicing to clients.
  • Works overtime, when necessary.
Requirements:


Required

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from an ABET accredited curriculum
  • Registered Professional Engineer license in the State of Colorado or ability to obtain one within 3 months.
  • 4– 8 years of progressive Civil Engineering experience.
  • Must be eligible to work for any employer in the United States, without the need for visa sponsorship now or in the future.
  • Ability to work in the Denver area. Relocation reimbursement may be provided, depending on the role and job function.
  • Project experience in the following areas:
    • Treatment facilities – water and wastewater
    • Water and sanitary master planning
    • Water pump stations and sanitary lift stations
    • Storage tanks
    • Septic
    • Regulatory design review and permitting
    • Hydraulic modeling for sewer collection and water distribution

Desired

  • Min 4 years’ experience in Water/Wastewater engineering
  • Min 1 years’ experience with Professional Engineer license.
  • Knowledge of or proficiency with AutoCAD, Civil3D, StormCAD, FlowMaster, BioWIN
  • Knowledge of water/wastewater permitting of jurisdictions within the Metropolitan area
  • Master’s degree in Civil/Environmental Engineering

Compensation


The wage range for this role considers the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs.

  • Base Salary: For individuals hired in California/Colorado, a reasonable estimate of the current range for this role is $89,000 to $108,000 annually.
  • Accrued Time: This is a salaried position with accrued time eligibility. Accrued time allows additional compensation or time-off to be earned for any eligible hours worked exceeding 40 hours per week.
  • Base Salary Review: This role is eligible to participate in Martin/Martin’s annual base salary increase review process.
  • Annual Bonus: This role is eligible to participate in a discretionary annual bonus program.

Base salary review and increases, in addition to annual bonuses, are dependent on various factors, including a hired individual’s job-level and annual company performance.
