$24/hr. CDL driver is needed to assist the installation team.  Must be hands on and ready to help with pipework.


Details:

Van Delden Wastewater Systems in Boerne, TX is looking to hire a full-time Dump Truck Driver with a Class A CDL to support our septic installation team. This position involves operating dump trucks, hauling machinery to and from jobsites, and assisting installers with hands-on work when needed.

A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A DUMP TRUCK DRIVER

Your day starts at 7:30am at the shop, where you receive daily instructions and prepare your truck, trailers, and equipment. You'll safely haul dirt, gravel, and materials, as well as transport heavy machinery to and from jobsites using a Class A CDL. When not driving, you'll assist the septic installation crew with manual labor such as shoveling, site prep, and general jobsite support. You'll work closely with installers and project managers to keep jobs moving efficiently and safely.The work can be physically demanding at times, but you'll enjoy staying active, being part of a tight-knit team, and knowing your role is essential to getting the job done right.


QUALIFICATIONS
  • Valid Class A CDL (required) 
  • Experience driving dump trucks and towing trailers  
  • Ability to haul heavy machinery to jobsites  
  • Willingness to assist installers with manual labor  
  • Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions  
  • Physically capable of lifting, shoveling, and performing jobsite tasks  
  • Dependable, safety-focused, and team-oriented  
WORK SCHEDULE
  • 40-48 hours per week 
  • Monday - Friday 
  • Start time: 7:30am 
  • End time varies between 3:00pm - 6:00pm 
  • Overtime paid at time-and-a-half 
  • No on-call work - No Nights, No Weekends, No Holidays!
