Overview

We are seeking a Wastewater Truck Driver to support our Field Operations McDonald Septic team. This role will transport, load, and unload equipment and provide pumping service for septic tanks. In addition, this role will locate and dig out septic tanks access lids. 

Work Location and Schedule
  • Primarily based in Redmond, Oregon
  • May require overtime, nights and weekends as needed
  • Local travel to other locations within our service areas in Central Oregon 
What You'll Do

This position will be willing and able to perform the following duties and others as assigned:

  • Drive septic pump truck(s) 
  • Locate and dig up septic tanks access lids
  • Leave customers property in a clean and neat manner
  • Pump residential septic and restaurant grease traps
  • Clean and maintain pump truck inside and out
  • Daily pre and post trip vehicle and equipment checks
  • Complete paperwork pricing
  • Comply with rules and regulations at disposal plants
  • Must be able to perform a variety of manual labor
  • Communicate with Field Administrator, Area Supervisor, and customers
  • Assist operators in Cline-Butte service areas

What You'll Bring

Experience

   2+ years operating a septic tank truck


Education / Licenses / Certifications

  • Class B or Class A License with a tanker endorsement
  • High school diploma or equivalent is required


Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Eective verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to perform simple and accurate arithmetic calculation
  • Experience with GIS map viewer software
  • Experience using field data collection devices such as GPS, valve operating data, etc.
  • Experience with Microsoft Oce 365 suite including Microsoft Excel, Word, Windows Explorer
Work Environment and Conditions
  • Employee works outdoors and drives around in a vehicle
