Job description

HD Fowler Company is looking for a full-time Outside Salesperson - Pump Division to work out of our Wilsonville, Oregon branch location. The Outside Salesperson is an integral team member at HD Fowler. You will be responsible for outside sales in the assigned territory and department.
What you will do:
  • All outside sales contact with relevant contractors, municipalities, and all other potential customers; have an organized and systematic approach to customer contact providing high quality service.
    • Participate in all Pump Division product applications such as Onsite septic (residential & commercial), Groundwater (residential, commercial, agricultural), Well Drilling, Water & Wastewater Treatment, and Engineered products.
    • Contact with onsite septic designers/regulators.
    • Contact with State/County registered installers and/or service providers for the different applications.
  • Maintain an effective account portfolio and territory plan that includes relevant and thorough customer information, sales and margin targets, and individual account strategies.
  • All relevant procedural and reporting compliance.
  • Within assigned territory: increase sales volume and margin, assist in the budgeting process, and demonstrate fiscal and resource responsibility.
  • Work and communicate effectively with all support branch personnel; synergize with branch manager to develop market strategies, grow markets, serve customers, and address any issues that arise.
  • May be required to assist in basic branch tasks as needed, including training.
  • Other duties as assigned by Sales Director or Executive.
