About the Role

We're seeking a dependable Septic Technician to join a growing operations team. In this role, you'll operate a company vacuum truck to service residential and commercial septic systems, holding tanks, portable restrooms, and related equipment while ensuring safe, compliant, and efficient waste disposal.

This position is ideal for a Class A CDL driver who enjoys working independently, takes pride in providing excellent customer service, and is committed to safety.


Responsibilities

  • Operate a vacuum truck to pump and service septic systems, holding tanks, and portable sanitation units.
  • Transport and dispose of waste in accordance with company procedures and environmental regulations.
  • Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
  • Maintain communication with dispatch regarding routes and service updates.
  • Complete service tickets, manifests, and required documentation accurately.
  • Keep trucks, equipment, and work areas clean and well maintained.
  • Follow all DOT, OSHA, and company safety policies.
  • Provide professional and courteous customer service at every job site.


Qualifications

  • Valid California Class A CDL required.
  • Tanker Endorsement required.
  • CDL must not have an E Restriction.
  • High school diploma or GED preferred.
  • Experience operating vacuum trucks, septic equipment, or similar heavy equipment is preferred.
  • Strong work ethic and ability to work independently.
  • Basic computer or tablet proficiency.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.


Physical Requirements
