In this role as a Service Technician, you’ll maintain and repair aerobic and conventional septic systems for residential and commercial customers, ensuring their satisfaction with your excellent service. As a Service Technician, you will:
  • Conduct bi-annual maintenance on aerobic systems, including inspections, cleaning, and repairs to ensure optimal performance.
  • Diagnose and fix aerobic and conventional septic systems, troubleshooting electrical and mechanical issues and replacing parts as needed.
  • Keep company vehicle tools and supplies in top condition, ensuring readiness for all jobs.
  • Drive to residential and commercial sites using the provided company vehicle.
  • Access wastewater tanks, which may involve hand digging or operating specialized equipment.
  • Log detailed, accurate notes on work orders to document services and issues.
Job Qualifications
To be a successful Service Technician, you should have:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; technical training or septic system certification is a bonus.
  • Physically capable of demanding tasks like lifting heavy equipment, digging, and working outdoors.
  • Able to use and read a voltmeter for electrical diagnostics.
