Job Summary
The Regional Sales Manager (RSM) is a newly established field leadership role designed to support Sephora USA retail growth, increase market share, and strengthen field execution. The RSM works closely with Account Executives across L'Occitane's select Sephora U.S. doors to drive sales performance, develop and coach talent, execute key business strategies, and ensure consistent, exceptional customer experiences at the store level. This role will bring strategic business thinking, coaching, and field operational support to maximize sales productivity, strengthen field execution, and drive regional business objectives.
Job Responsibilities
  • Business Management & Sales Execution
    • Analyze monthly sales results across Sephora US stores and identify opportunities to drive growth and improve business performance.
    • Execute regional business plans and sales initiatives to achieve revenue targets and market share objectives.
    • Foster a high-performance culture focused on accountability, results, and continuous improvement.
    • Provide feedback on the effectiveness of sales strategies, promotional programs, training initiatives, and selling tools.
    • Partner with Sr Sales Director to manage regional freelance, event and field activation budgets to maximize return on investment.
    • Maintain a thorough understanding of regional business performance, including sales trends, forecast accuracy, goal attainment, and year-over-year results.
    • Plan strategically and secure high-impact events and training initiatives, overseeing flawless execution and providing Account Executives with the tools, resources, and support needed to deliver exceptional results.
    • Share field insights and recommendations that support business growth.
  • Field Leadership & Retail Excellence
    • Conduct regular store visits, both in-person and virtual, to assess performance, support execution, and identify growth opportunities.
    • Observe customer interactions and selling behaviors to ensure alignment with brand standards and customer experience expectations.
    • Lead with an entrepreneurial mindset, encouraging innovative thinking and a strong sense of ownership across the field team.
    • Drive customer acquisition, retention, and loyalty through engaging in-store experiences and effective sales execution.
    • Develop and maintain strong relationships with Sephora store leadership.
    • Ensure consistent execution of visual merchandising, operational standards, promotional programs, and brand initiatives across all stores.
    • Travel monthly across all regions to support business needs.
  • Coaching, Development & Education
    • Coach and develop Account Executives to strengthen performance, selling effectiveness, and business acumen.
    • Support the professional growth of field teams through regular feedback, development planning, and performance management.
    • Partner with L'Occitane regional field training teams to execute education strategies that improve Sephora Beauty Advisor engagement, product knowledge, and sell-through results.
    • Ensure Account Executive and Freelance Brand Ambassadors are trained on brand standards, product knowledge, company policies, and selling expectations.
    • Deliver consistent product education, selling techniques, and best practices to support customer engagement and conversion.

Requirements
Education
  • Bachelor's Degree or similar work experience in retail business field
Experience & Skills
  • 7+ years of progressive retail experience
  • Sephora experience is required
  • Multi-unit retail experience and/or equivalent sales volume management experience required

The compensation for this role ranges from $120,000 - $125,000. Exact compensation will vary based on factors including but not limited to, experience, skills and geographical location. In addition to annual salary, the position is eligible for participation in a highly competitive bonus program.
