Job description

Join Sentec's growing team as a Sewing Machine Operator! This position works with a variety of materials to craft our proprietary Electrical Impedance Tomography belts. These highly specialized belts provide continuous, real-time lung monitoring data, allowing care teams to personalize ventilation strategies for each patient.

In this role, you will work with a team to assemble belts and finished goods using sewing machines and assembly line processes, all while upholding the high quality standards of the medical device industry. We welcome candidates with home or industrial sewing experience who are dependable, detail-focused, and eager to contribute to the growing demand for this exciting new product.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Assemble medical device components following detailed work instructions and specifications.
  • Assemble subassemblies and finished goods, using sewing machines, fixtures, hand, or power tools.
  • Conduct in-process inspections to ensure assembled devices meet quality standards and specifications
  • Follow all regulatory and company standards, including FDA regulations, ISO 13485, and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).

Requirements

  • High School diploma or equivalent required.
  • 3-5 years sewing experience.
  • Previous experience in industrial sewing environment or a similar role is preferred.
