Job description

Sentara, a nationally recognized nonprofit integrated healthcare system, is recruiting an experienced orthopedic surgeon to take a leading role in building a comprehensive elective orthopedic program at Sentara Obici Hospital in Suffolk, Virginia. This is an exciting opportunity to shape a growing service line in a high-need community while practicing with the stability, resources, and collaborative support of one of the region s most trusted healthcare organizations.

Fellowship training or experience in Sports Medicine or arthroplasty is required. The orthopedic surgeons will have support for fracture cases from our highly regarded/ well established orthopedic trauma team.

Offices are located on the campus of Sentara Obici Hospital, a well-equipped 176-bed community hospital, as well as at Sentara BelleHarbour, an ambulatory surgery center with two operating rooms and an expanded emergency department.
