Job description
In this role, you’ll improve requirement traceability across the existing sensor architecture while defining top-down requirements to guide the evolution of future systems. You’ll work closely with autonomy system architects to translate the needs of engineering, product, and safety teams into robust system requirements that enable safe and reliable vehicle operation in real-world conditions.

The ideal candidate has a strong background in systems engineering, a deep understanding of autonomous sensing technologies, and a passion for solving complex technical challenges.
As a Sensor Systems Engineer, you'll:
  • Identify and analyze challenging use cases and edge-case scenarios for autonomous driving systems.
  • Define and document system requirements for the sensor suite (cameras, radar, lidar) based on scenario analysis.
  • Perform trade studies to evaluate system architectures and sensor configurations against requirements.
  • Collaborate with hardware and software teams to ensure designs meet system requirements.
  • Develop and maintain clear, detailed technical documentation.
  • Present findings and recommendations to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
