Job description

Everyday Family Service Association provides meals to over 2,000 homebound seniors. Homebound individuals are more likely to feel isolated, have unmet care needs and less access to nutritious meals.

Holidays can be particularly difficult for seniors. Living alone, who are unable to leave their homes and face isolation. This November, as we deliver meals to homebound seniors, across two counties, we would love to include an uplifting card to help them feel loved.

Be creative! Host a card making party! Enlist your family, your students, your social groups, even your local community leaders. Your message should be kind, simple, and fun, and such that it will connect to a broad range of people. Jokes always seem to be a hit. Since we don't know the recipients' religious affiliations, we ask that the cards kindly leave out any religious references.

  • Fun Fact:

We serve a high number of Spanish speaking seniors. If you have the ability to create cards in Spanish that would be extra awesome!
