Job Summary
The Senior Center is currently in need of a Fitness Class Instructor I, II or III.
Essential Job Functions
Responsible for planning, developing, and implementing all aspects of program in a safe manner and environment; must be able to lead, teach, and demonstrate all aspects of activity; responsible for promoting positive public relations and image for the City through appearance, communication, punctuality, etc.
Qualifications
Class Instructor I (Salary: $17.15 - $24.00)
QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS: l-2 years of training in subject area; effective communication skills; CPR may be required; certification(s) may be required.
EXPERIENCE: l year of teaching experience required; experience with respective age group preferred.
EDUCATION: High school degree or G.E.D.
Class Instructor II (Salary: $17.15 - $25.00)
QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS: Three to four years of training in subject area. Must possess effective communication skills. CPR, First Aid and other certifications pertaining to your program may be required.
EXPERIENCE: Two to three years teaching experience in subject area.
EDUCATION: At least two years of college or equivalent.
Class Instructor III (Salary: $27.00 - $37.00)
QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS: Three (3) plus years training/exposure in subject matter; effective communication skills; CPR may be required; certifications (as required)
