Title: Network Engineer / Network Architect
Location: Orange County, CA/ Santa Ana, CA
Duration: 12 Months Plus
 
Position Summary:
Design, implement, and support resilient, secure, and highly available enterprise communication networks that support mission-critical operations in a 24x7 environment. The role focuses on ensuring reliable connectivity, network performance, and infrastructure availability for complex operational facilities.
 
Key Responsibilities:
•             Design, deploy, and maintain enterprise LAN, WAN, and wireless network infrastructure.
•             Configure and manage routing, switching, firewalls, and network security solutions.
•             Perform network capacity planning, performance analysis, and optimization to ensure high availability and scalability.
•             Develop and maintain network architecture documentation, topology diagrams, and technical standards.
•             Support IP telephony, unified communications, and other business-critical operational technology (OT) systems.
•             Conduct network testing, validation, commissioning, and troubleshooting during deployments and infrastructure upgrades.
•             Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure network reliability, security, and compliance with organizational standards.
•             Participate in incident response, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement initiatives for critical infrastructure.
 
Required Qualifications:
•             Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Electronics, or a related field.
•             Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in network engineering within large-scale, high-availability enterprise environments.
•             Strong expertise in TCP/IP, routing protocols, switching technologies, wireless networking, and network security.
•             Experience supporting business-critical infrastructure requiring high reliability, redundancy, and operational continuity.
•             Proficiency in diagnosing and resolving complex network performance and connectivity issues.
 
Preferred Certifications:
•             Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP)
•             Cisco Certified Internetwork Expert (CCIE)
•             Registered Communications Distribution Designer (RCDD)
•             Project Management Professional (PMP).
 
Preferred Experience:
•             Experience designing and supporting networks for complex, multi-site operational facilities or other environments requiring continuous (24x7) service availability.
•             Familiarity with integrating enterprise IT infrastructure with operational technology (OT) systems and secure communication platforms.
