E-TAS was formed and dedicated to support the Department of Energy (DOE) Portsmouth/Paducah Project Office (PPPO) with technical and management services contributing to the safe and cost-effective implementation of the "One PPPO" mission.

Job Description
Operating from the Paducah site this individual will assume a myriad of roles and responsibilities. Reporting to the Safeguards and Security Manager, the individual will (1) review submittals, program assessments, and coordinate S&S activities; (2) develop draft response communications to DOE contractors and stakeholders; (3) conduct Safeguards and Security Assessments in all S&S areas; (4);complete routine data entry on both SSIMS and USSIMS systems; (5) conduct personnel badging actions in coordination with site personnel security offices; (6) oversee Security aspects of facility renovations and upgrades; (7) investigate and handle IOSCs; (8) maintain POC relationship with Local Emergency Response Agencies; (9) ensure PAP testing is maintained in accordance with PPPO Performance Assurance Plan and DOE Orders
Job Requirements
Associate's Degree from an accredited university is desired. 11+ years of DOE/DoD related Security Programs experience and working experience in Safeguards and Security programs may be considered in lieu of a formal degree.
Experience with contractor program oversight and contract execution and related tasks
Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook).
Effective oral and written communication skills.
Ability to work independently or in a team environment
Exhibit a high degree of professionalism in the production of deliverables and in interactions with fellow employees and client personnel.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in S&S issues in a D&D environment
Demonstrated proficiency to perform DOE Safeguards and Security tasks and/or responsibilities related to Program Planning and Management, e.g., Planning and Procedures; Physical Protection, Information Security, Personnel Security; Foreign Visits and Assignments.
Experience with performing DOE Assessments, Survey's, Corrective Action Plans and Survey & Comprehensive Self-Assessment Report development.

This position may require the ability to obtain a government clearance. This position may require reviews and test for absence of any illegal drugs along with a background investigation by the Federal government in order to obtain an access authorization prior to employment, and may require subsequent reinvestigations may be required.
