Job Description Link Technologies (LinkTechConsulting.com), a Las Vegas-based IT consulting firm, is currently seeking Senior Systems Engineer to join our team. JOB SUMMARY The ideal candidate will be a hands-on, proactive individual with a deep understanding of modern IT infrastructure, from on-premises virtualization to cloud-based services and security. This position will be responsible for the design, implementation, and maintenance of our critical systems, ensuring they are secure, efficient, and highly available

REQUIREMENTS MUST HAVE TECHNOLOGIES: o Windows Server OS o Microsoft Entra ID o Hyper-V/VMware o Microsoft Intune o PowerShell/Python Scripting NICE TO HAVE TECHNOLOGIES: o Wasabi Cloud Storage o SharePoint o ConnectWise RMM o GPOs o Office 365 o Veeam Backup Five (5) to seven (7) years of professional experience as a systems engineer or similar role. Extensive experience with Windows Server Operating Systems. Deep understanding of Hyper-V or VMware virtualization and virtualized hardware.

Proficiency with Veeam and experience with cloud backup solutions, preferably Wasabi. Veeam certification preferred. Hands-on experience with Microsoft Entra ID (formerly Azure AD), including a deep understanding of core identity concepts, authentication methods, and security features.

Hands-on experience with Microsoft Intune for device enrollment, policy configuration, application deployment, and compliance reporting. Demonstrable experience with Office 365 and SharePoint Strong scripting skills in PowerShel Experience managing Linux Hands-on experience with Trend Micro email and endpoint security products. Knowledge of DHCP, DNS, GPOs.

Hands-on experience with ConnectWise RMM is a significant plus. Possess a strong understanding of TCP/IP networking protocols to troubleshoot connectivity issues and configure network services. Microsoft Certifications in Identity and Access Administrator Associate are a plus.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively and document technical procedures clearly. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose and resolve complex technical issues. RESPONSIBILITIES System Management: Manage and maintain our server environment, which includes Windows Server Operating Systems, Active Directory, Hyper-V or VMWare, virtualization, and Linux operating systems.

This involves monitoring system health, performance tuning, and troubleshooting issues. You'll need to demonstrate knowledge of DHCP, DNS, and TCP/IP and Group Policy Objects (GPOs). Ensure the stability and security of the server environment.

Data Protection and Cloud Storage: Architect and manage our data backup and disaster recovery solutions using Veeam Backup and Replication. You will also be responsible for integrating and managing cloud-based storage solutions, specifically with Wasabi Cloud for offsite backups and archiving. Cloud and Collaboration Services: Administer and support our Office 365 and SharePoint Online environments, including user management, security policies, and service health monitoring.

Automation and Scripting: Utilize PowerShell and Python for scripting and automation of routine tasks, system administration, and infrastructure management to improve efficiency and reduce manual eff ort . Security: Implement and manage endpoint security and threat protection using Trend Micro solutions including email and endpoint protection to safeguard our systems from threats. Remote Management: Leverage remote monitoring and management tools to maintain and support our infrastructure.
