Welcome to Love's: The Digital Media Specialist I will work as part of a collaborative team to plan, produce and publish a wide array of video training materials for the Talent Management department at Love’s.

 

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Develop and assist in drafting and refining training concepts, storyboards, scripts and shot lists to support media initiatives.
  • Assist with media productions from planning through completion with guidance from senior team members.
  • Manage and publish digital content to Learning Management System and online video library.
  • Maintain and run equipment including video cameras, lights, teleprompters, still cameras, projectors and/or audio equipment.
  • Assist with the review and update of content in training systems (learning management system, video hosting sites, etc.).
  • Set up and operate recording equipment necessary for department training events.
  • Ensure accuracy and timely delivery of all campaign media components.
  • Maintain usage rights, process workflow and archiving best-practices within a digital asset system.
  • Track assigned tasks and deliverables to support successful project execution.
  • Work through supervisors or project managers with external clients from concept to completion.
  • Learn and apply established media production processes.
  • Follow established standards and procedures.
  • Receive regular coaching and feedback from senior team members.
  • Other duties as assigned.

 

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Education:
  • College or technical degree in Visual Communications or related field required;
    equivalent combination of education and professional training required.
  • Experience:
    • 0 - 2 years media production experience preferred.

 

SKILLS AND PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

  • Skills:
  • Hard Skills: Proven production skills and proficiency with Adobe Cloud apps including, Premiere, Audition, Media Encoder, and Photoshop. Adobe After Effects and Davinci Resolve experience is preferred.  Proficient at shooting HD video using pro video gear (traditional and cinema configurations). 
  • Soft Skills: Able to adapt to change, flexibility with shifting customer requests, creativity, good verbal and written communication skills, a self-starter, works well with others, strong time management skills, strong organizational skills, a sense of urgency, can make effective decisions, strong problem-solving skills, strong work ethic, dependable, detail-oriented, and willingness to work flexible hours and travel as required, diplomatic and collaborative attitude that inspires partners to meet and exceed business expectations.
  • Typical Physical Demands:
    • Requires ability to be on your feet for prolonged periods of time.
    • Capable of lifting up to 25 pounds.
    • Manual dexterity sufficient to operate a camera, video equipment and computer keyboard.
    • Requires normal range of hearing and vision.
    • Some travel may be required.
