Summary:

The Video & Communications Specialist is responsible for creating high-quality video, photo, and multimedia content that helps connect more than 3,700 Field Operations employees to business priorities, training, culture, leadership messaging, recognition, and other key initiatives. This role combines creative storytelling, motion graphics, photography, and internal communications to produce engaging content across video, podcasts, email, and digital platforms.

As part of the Field Ops Culture team, you'll help bring some of Field Operations' most visible and engaging initiatives to life; from competitions, recognition programs, incentive campaigns, events, leadership communications, and more. No two weeks look the same, making this an ideal role for someone who enjoys variety, loves creative problem-solving, and wants to see their work have a meaningful impact.

Responsibilities

Video & Media Production

  • Own end-to-end video production. From scripting, scheduling shoots and filming to editing and publishing.
  • Lead creation of visual content for: installer trainings, leadership updates, competition recaps, event hype videos, charitable programs, and more
  • Develop storyboards, shot lists, and creative concepts for video projects.
  • Comfortable using lightweight tools (even just a phone) to capture timely, culture-driven content. Knows when to keep it scrappy and when to go polished.
  • Own video projects from intake through delivery, proactively communicating timelines, dependencies, and status updates.
  • Capture professional photography for leadership events, swag programs, recruiting, and internal communications.
  • Partner with stakeholders to define scope, clarify objectives, and recommend the most effective communication approach.
  • Produce and distribute the weekly Field Ops podcast, hosted by our SVP
  • Capture and amplify stories from the Field & Supply Chain org through engaging visuals and motion
  • Leverage AI tools to improve production efficiency, content creation, transcription, editing, and communication workflows while continuously identifying opportunities to automate repetitive work.
  • Maintain video and media channels and publishing platforms, ensuring content is accurate, timely, and follows established standards.
  • Produce engaging motion graphics, title sequences, lower thirds, animated explainers, and branded visual elements using Adobe After Effects and related Creative Cloud tools.

Event Media & Production Support

  • Capture photo and video content at internal meetings, events, and field activities to support communications, recognition, and storytelling.
  • Produce highlight videos and recap content that extends the impact of key programs and events.
  • Support basic live production needs for internal meetings, including camera setup, microphones, lighting, presentation displays, and recording.
  • Assess event production needs and recommend appropriate audio/visual equipment, room layouts, and technical setup based on the audience and objectives.
  • Coordinate with Corporate Communications, Creative, or external AV vendors when additional production support is required.
  • Troubleshoot basic audio/visual issues during meetings and recordings to ensure a smooth experience.

Communications Support

  • Partner with internal stakeholders to plan, build, publish, and distribute internal communications across email, Microsoft Teams, and the intranet, coordinating messaging, creative assets, and distribution from concept to delivery.
  • Support execution of key weekly/monthly comms (e.g., campaign emails, huddle decks, digital signage, Microsoft Teams messages, etc)
  • Maintain and update content across internal platforms (Microsoft Teams, email, signage, media libraries)
  • Source and translate field stories into high-quality visual or written content
  • Monitor trends and feedback to recommend format and delivery improvements
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Leadership, Program team, Training, Enablement, Safety, Revenue, and Culture

Required Skills, Experience & Education: 

Technical & Content Creation Skills

  • High proficiency in video production (camera setup, filming, editing, publishing) using tools like Adobe Premiere or Final Cut Pro
  • Experience with audio and podcast production, or a willingness to learn
  • Advanced proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro and strong working knowledge of Adobe After Effects for motion graphics and animation.
  • Strong presentation design skills using Keynote and PowerPoint
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud (Premiere, Illustrator, InDesign)
  • Comfortable creating both studio-quality content and scrappy, fast-turnaround videos captured on a phone or webcam
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Microsoft Teams, Outlook, SharePoint, and other internal communication tools

Corporate Communication Skills

  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills; able to distill complex topics into simple, engaging content with the highest level of attention to detail in grammar and spelling
  • Experience supporting or running town halls, all hands, team calls, or field-facing meetings / events
  • Strong project management and organizational skills; able to juggle multiple priorities with deadlines
  • Technologically savvy; able to learn and leverage tools for automation and scalable comms workflows (e.g., Braze, Airtable, Outlook rules)
  • Experience managing internal distribution lists and contact groups across platforms (Outlook Groups, Teams, Active Directory)

  • Candidates must provide a portfolio, demo reel, or work samples demonstrating video production, editing, motion graphics, photography, and other relevant creative work.

Preferred Skills, Experience & Education:  

  • Experience creating short-form content (e.g., TikTok, Instagram Reels)
  • Familiarity with collaborative design tools such as Figma
  • Experience managing content in CMS platforms like SharePoint or Wix
  • Experience with tools such as Canva, Braze, Airtable, and Asana
  • Knowledge of AP Style and internal editorial best practices
  • Background working with field or remote employee populations
  • Experience using data and analytics to measure and improve communication performance
  • Familiarity with building internal email campaigns or drip communications

WORKING CONDITIONS: 

This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.

 

This role offers occasional travel opportunities to capture content at Field Operations events and initiatives, including leadership meetings, video shoots, and recognition programs. Travel is typically limited to 2-5 trips per year.
