Description
SAIC is seeking a Senior Systems Engineer.
Job Duties
  • Provide technical analysis and program/project management support for the development of life-cycle strategies, requirements, work statements, technical papers/presentations pertinent to ECIs, SHIPALTs, TEMPALTs, SUBSAFE and DSS-SOC documentation.
  • Serve as the Configuration Manager implementing and maintaining processes for configuration management and document controls, deviation/departure tracking and management, and schedule/milestone establishment and tracking.
  • Coordinate and participate in program and technical status meetings/reviews, developing inputs, documenting proceedings, and tracking action items.
  • Perform significant engineering drawing and technical research, verification. and resolution services to accurately verify configuration and technical data.
  • Provide planning and estimating services to validate engineering estimates for purchasing and rough order of magnitude (ROM) preparations.

Qualifications
  • Must have have a Bachelors degree; years of experience accepted in lieu of degree.
  • Must have a TS/SCI with the ability to obtain a CI polygraph.
  • Must have at least 5 years of experience providing configuration management, planning and estimating and commitment tracking support for a submarine Program Office.

Target salary range: $120,001 - $160,000. The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
