In-N-Out Burger has an excellent opportunity for a full-time Microsoft 365 Administrator in the Information Technology (IT) department, based in the Irvine, CA office. Reporting to the Cloud Applications Supervisor, the Microsoft 365 Administrator supports the department's strategic goals by ensuring the operational stability, availability, and security of Microsoft 365 services, which are mission-critical to digital collaboration, productivity, and secure information exchange.
General Responsibilities:
  • Manage Microsoft 365 user provisioning, access control, and configuration changes
  • Assist in the administration of the Microsoft 365 app suite, including but not limited to Teams, Copilot, SharePoint, and OneDrive
  • Monitor system health and resolve basic Microsoft 365 incidents
  • Provide support for Microsoft 365-related issues, escalating when necessary
  • Supporting automation efforts using tools like PowerShell and Power Automate
  • Maintain a highly secure system through proper configuration and system access monitoring
  • Follow established governance frameworks and security standards
  • Work with the Product Owner and senior admins to test and deploy new features
  • Oversee Microsoft 365 roadmap and highlight releases that could impact business operations
  • Bring forward recommendations to enhance user experience, reduce costs, and improve reliability
  • Provide Microsoft 365 support and end-user training, training plans, and documentation

Work Schedule + Benefits

  • Pay Range: $38.00-$41.00 per hour

Qualifications for INO associates:
  • In-N-Out Burger Store experience: Must be a Level 4 or higher
  • In-N-Out Burger Arrow (Support) experience: 1+ year experience in an Arrow position preferred

Qualifications:
  • Associate's degree or higher in Computer Science, Information Systems or related field preferred
  • Certifications preferred, one or more of these:
    • Cloud Essentials
    • Microsoft Fundamentals
    • Microsoft 365 Certified: Administrator Expert (MS-102)
  • Minimum 1+ year experience of utilizing Microsoft 365 applications
  • Minimum 1+ year experience of using an IT ticketing system to intake, track, and manage support requests
  • Minimum 1+ year experience troubleshooting Microsoft 365 issues and implementing solutions
  • Familiarity with cloud computing, AI functionality, network concepts, and security principles
  • Strong ability to solve problems and provide excellent customer service to all users and partners
  • Excellent communication, documentation, planning, and organizational skills
  • Positive attitude and eager to streamline and improve process and workflows
  • Highly motivated with strong interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team
  • Perform administration responsibilities at appropriate times, available for maintenance or upgrades at non-standard work hours

Additional Preferred Skills:
  • Experience in Project Management and Vendor management
  • Experience in facilitating meetings in-person and virtually
  • Experience in utilizing AI tools like Copilot, ChatGPT, Claude, etc.

Work Location Details
In-N-Out Burger plans to bring its west coast headquarters team back together under one roof by the end of 2029. After maintaining two Southern California office locations for many years, the company will permanently close its Irvine office in 2029 and once again headquarter the company's western territory solely in Baldwin Park, California, where the company was founded in 1948.
Newly hired Associates in Irvine will be eligible to participate in the group move to Tennessee with relocation assistance or work from our western headquarters in Baldwin Park, CA, upon its opening in 2029.
